Buddy is the first dog that I’ve ever had. 4 years ago my sister in law’s dog went into labor when she wasn’t home and my husband and I had to rush to their house to make sure the birth went well! Buddy was one of the 6 puppies I got to see come into this world and he’s the reason that I now see every family should have a dog!
At just 4 years old he was diagnosed with sarcoma cancer. We made the difficult decision to remove his right front leg. The decision was difficult only b.c we didn’t want him to be in pain. But knowing that it can prolong his life with us, well…once we came to terms with that, it was a no-brainer!
We’ve known Buddy since he was born and have been a part of his life. Its been a hard week but I know we can get through this. This group has been amazing in preparing us and I’m so grateful!
Here is our Buddy before his surgery and his Labradoodle sister Snuffles (b.c she looks like Snuffleupagus). Snuffles is a rambunctious puppy of 1 so at times she can be a bit annoying but Buddy is a great big brother and is very patient!
